Purpose:
The Controlling a Stage process decsribes the work of the Project Manager in handling the day-to-day management of the stage.
Controlling a Stage allocates work to be done in the form of Work Packages, monitors the work as it progresses and reports progress to the Project Board in the form of Highlight Report. Action is taken to manage issues which arise and take corrective action if the stage remains within tolerance. Forecats above stage or project tolerance are escalated to the Project Board in the forma of Exception Report
