PRINCE2 Foundation
PRINCE2® Foundation certificate is a fundamental Certificate of the project management methodology PRINCE2®. It can be obtained after completing the 3 - day training and of successfully passing the final exam. To obtain the certificate, it is necessary to know the entire PRINCE2® methodology and pass the exam with at least 50% of answers correct. Previous experience of project management methodology might be an advantage to facilitate understanding, but not a requirement.
The validity of the certificate is unlimited and the certificate shall not be invalidated, even if it will be using updated methodology.
The certificate shall always be in English regardless of which language you use in the PRINCE2® Foundation exam. The certificate also does not state how many correct answers you have achieved in the final test.
From 2014, only an e-certificate is issued, thus the electronic form of the certificate, which is part of the fee for training PRINCE2 Foundation.
For an extra fee, you can get the certificate issued on hard copy paper with fine print and sealed with a metallic appearance. Signature on the certificate is not genuine (printed copy). The validity of the certificate can be verified by the APMG website .
